Grounds For Sculpture Hosts The Outlet Dance Project’s 10th Annual Festival
Dance Film Fest October 2nd, Live Performances October 4th
On October 2nd and 4th, The Outlet Dance Project, one of the most popular dance festivals in New Jersey, is celebrating its 10th year at Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton, NJ. Rain or Shine. On October 2nd at 7:30pm is the Dance on Film Fest, featuring films created by women choreographers and dance filmmakers across the globe. October 4th at 2pm is the annual Day of Dance. This afternoon of stage performance and site-specific dance is a whole new way for the entire family to experience both dance and Grounds for Sculpture’s 42 acres of contemporary sculpture sited on landscaped parkland full of exquisite trees and flowers..
The Outlet Dance Project is an annual festival committed to collaboration, community building, interdisciplinary experimentation, and the exploration of the audience/performer relationship. It provides women choreographers of all traditional and nontraditional dance genres an opportunity to share their artistic vision. Through partnership with Grounds For Sculpture, community outreach, and performance, The Outlet Dance Project strives to enrich the region with dance.

Grounds For Sculpture (GFS), located in Hamilton, New Jersey (midway between Philadelphia and New York), is a forty-two acre, not for profit sculpture park and arboretum founded by Seward Johnson. Its collection features more than 270 contemporary sculptures by renowned and emerging artists. Exhibitions change seasonally in six indoor galleries.
